When he's not leaving LeBron James hanging, Lance Stephenson is putting on a show for the Los Angeles Lakers. Beyond the reputation that has earned him a spot on the infamous “Meme Team,” Stephenson is a pretty entertaining player to watch and it perfectly fits the mold for the resurgence of “Showtime.”

One play in the first quarter of the Lakers' preseason matchup against the Sacramento Kings proved just that. Off a huge block by center Ivica Zubac, Los Angeles executed a picturesque fastbreak play that ended in Zubac being fed down low for the slam dunk.

The Croatian center got rewarded for his trail job by Stephenson, who wasted no time in celebrating his assist by doing the shimmy at courtside.

The Lakers brought him in as the team and LeBron James wanted guys who play with an edge. With all that Stephenson has gone through his entire career, he does have something to prove. Stephenson is a talented player, no doubt, but his antics have overshadowed his actual contributions.

With the Lakers and under James' watch, the hope is that “Born Ready” will be able to make a turnaround, similar to J.R. Smith's transformation from the latter part of his New York Knicks days to his peak with the Cleveland Cavaliers that resulted in a championship.

For now, it's safe to say that Stephenson is loving the life in Hollywood.
