Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is not known as a sharpshooter. Sure, he can hit the three-ball, but he's not the type of guy who can just go unconscious from distance Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson style.

Unless he looks at the ball before he shoots it, apparently.

There is actual video evidence of James making a whole lot of triples after he looks at the basketball first. Check out the thread below:

Now, this has to be some sort of weird coincidence, because LeBron has been playing in the league for 16 seasons and this has never been a thing before. Well, at least not a thing that any of us were aware of.

However, it definitely seems like James is having quite a bit of success knocking down treys when he has a split second of personal time with the rock before he lets it fly.

This season, LeBron is shooting 37.0 percent from downtown, which happens to be his best percentage from long range since the 2013-14 campaign, when he made 37.9 percent of his three-pointers.

James is a lifetime 34.5 percent shooter from beyond the arc, which is right around league average.

Overall this season, the 34-year-old is averaging 27.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, seven assists and 1.3 steals over 34.7 minutes per game while making 51.9 percent of his field-goal attempts and 68.3 percent of his free throws.

Based on how poorly LeBron has been shooting at the charity stripe this year, maybe he should stare at the basketball before he takes his foul shots, too?
