Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was glued to his TV screen watching the down-to-the-wire NCAA Final Four showdown between the Gonzaga Bulldogs and the UCLA Bruins on Saturday. No stranger to hitting big shots of his own, even The King can't help but gush about Jalen Suggs' halfcourt buzzer-beating trey that gave the Zags a 93-90 overtime win.

The Gonzaga-UCLA match certainly lived up to the hype and was just a treat to watch. LeBron James can attest to this and even claimed he knew Suggs was going to hit that game-winner before he even released the long heave.

The Bulldogs kept their undefeated season intact, thanks to Suggs heroics on both ends of the floor. Apart from perhaps the biggest shot of his life, the 19-year-old playmaker was also lauded for his remarkable defense on Bruins star Johnny Juzang in the extra period. Suggs finished with 16 points, five rebounds and six assists in 40 minutes of action, while holding Juzang to just two points in overtime.

LeBron James, meanwhile, is enjoying his downtime with some good old-fashioned college basketball, as he continues to recuperate from a serious ankle injury.  The four-time NBA champion certainly knows great talent when he sees one. It seems he is already quite high on the 6-foot-4 combo guard, who is expected to be a Top 5 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

Heck, the Lakers could have certainly used Suggs' talent right now, as they try to keep things afloat with both James and Anthony Davis sidelined.
