LeBron James already has a couple nicknames, including âKing Jamesâ and, dating back to his high school years, âThe Chosen One.â Some have taken to calling him âGOAT.â
But is the four-time NBA champion looking for the âCaped Crusaderâ moniker?
A couple fans captured James masked up while going for a ride in his Porsche 918 Spyder convertible. LeBron gave the surprised fans a nice little âhang looseâ gesture before driving off:

The all-black car eerily resembles the Batmobile structure from the early âBatmanâ films and comics. Maybe that's because it is one of the rarest cars in the world.
According to TMZ, the Porsche 918 Spyder was only produced between 2013 and 2015, and the value has apparently risen to as high as $1.7 million:
The Porsche 918 Spyderis a limited edition vehicle that was only produced between 2013 and 2015 â with a starting price of $845,000!!
Though AutomobileMag.com says the cars have gone way up in value â recently selling between $1.1 million and $1.7 million.
Basketball fans know by now LeBron James has a real affinity for wine. But it appears he is taking stock in rare automobiles, as well.
Why not, considering LeBron just signed a two-year, $85 million extension with the Lakers.
James has every reason to flex a little bit. Aside from winning his fourth title in October, LeBron was active in mobilizing amenities and awareness with his More Than A Vote group, and he continues to put on for his I Promise School in Akron.
That said, LeBron James is still far from done in terms of cementing his basketball legacy. The Lakers are in a good position to contend for multiple titles in the coming years, with LeBron and Anthony Davis leading the way. They're the clear favorite to repeat as champions in 2020-21.
