Tim Tebow was an excellent college quarterback. His time with the Florida Gators is the stuff of legend.

He is also fodder for jokes as of late. Between an iffy NFL career and his current attempt of hitting baseballs all over Single A ballparks, many get joy in poking fun at the all-around decent guy.

There's more to him than that. There's a huge fan base, one solely dedicated to Tim Tebow, who truly believe he wasn't given a fair shake in the NFL. That, for a variety of reasons, he was forced out of the league not because he was awful, yet for some nefarious reason.

As for his baseball career, Tebow has been a bit all over the place. We have all seen his homers on highlight shows, but he whiffs a bit and his batting average isn't exactly something that will force a Major League Baseball team to bring him to the majors.

A fan attending ESPN's College Gameday set knows this, made a sign, and decided Saturday was the correct time to go full troll on the guy.

For those somehow unaware, a .226 batting average isn't good. It isn't even average. While I'm not exactly a wizard when it comes to the old slapstick stats, .226 is widely considered awful.

Poor Tim Tebow, though. He was just sitting up there, doing his job, looking all kinds of professional, and boom … some guy is in the background making a mockery out of the guy.

I do wonder what people will think of Tebow 20 years from now. Will he be remembered as one of college football's greatest quarterbacks, an NFL bust, or a dude who chased a weird baseball fetish?

Maybe it will be all, or none, or a combination of those things.
