The search is over for a coach in Orlando. Just a week after former Magic coach Scott Skiles resigned from his position, the Orlando has agreed in principle to hire Frank Vogel to fill the vacant position.

The Magic averaged 102.1 ppg while giving up 103.7 ppg, so while they weren't short on offense, their defense needs improvement. Frank Vogel is a veteran coach who can help them, because his strength lie in defense. Ironically, the reason he was let go from  the Indiana Pacers was a lack of scoring

Vogel was in demand as soon as he left Indiana, interviewing with other teams such as the Grizzlies, Knicks, and Rockets. It didn't take him long to find a new home.

Vogel led the Pacers to a .580 record, and they only missed the playoffs once in his six seasons there.
