Markelle Fultz has started the last 10 games for the Orlando Magic after coming off the bench in the first five games.

Orlando head coach Steve Clifford likes what Fultz brings to the starting unit.

“He brings pace, and he gets the ball going to the basket and into the paint,” Clifford told Joe Wolfond of The Score. “And he plays for his teammates. He's big, he's quick, he has great feel for the game. It's helped us already playing more inside out.”

Fultz is averaging 10.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game on the season for the Magic. He's shooting 48.5 percent from the field, 20.0 percent from beyond the arc and 82.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The Magic enter Monday's game against the Detroit Pistons at 6-9. The entire NBA community is happy Fultz is playing well in Orlando since the start to his NBA career was bizarre.

As a starter, Fultz is putting up 11.3 points and 3.5 assists. The Magic are looking to make the playoffs for the second straight season. They are currently playing without All-Star center Nikola Vucevic, who is out with a severe ankle sprain.

The Pistons are only 5-11 on the season. The Magic will look to defeat the Pistons in Detroit behind the strong play of Fultz and Co.
