We're now on Day 3 of the 2022 Masters, with Tiger Woods making the cut for the 22nd straight tournament. It was frankly unknown how he'd do at Augusta after such a long period of time away from the sport, but he's managed to hold his own.

Following his second round on Friday, Tiger got real on his chances heading into the weekend, where he currently sits two above par through seven holes. Via Golf.com:

“I made the cut; I have a chance going into the weekend,” Woods said. “It’s going to be cool tomorrow, it’s going to be the golf course Augusta National wants. It’s going to be quicker, drier, faster. It will be a great test.”

Indeed, it's been quicker, dryer, and windier on Saturday at the Masters. As of writing, Tiger is tied for 32nd, with Scott Scheffler still in the lead. However, he hasn't teed off for Day 3 quite yet. Woods' second day started off rough, bogeying in four of the first five holes. But, the legend eventually settled in and finished two under par in the last 13.

Tiger is still absolutely in the mix at the Masters, but it will be interesting to see how he finishes on Saturday. That will say a lot for where he could end up heading into Sunday.
