The Dallas Mavericks staved off elimination on Tuesday night after a hard-fought victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. Luka Doncic was the star of the show yet again for the Mavs, as he led his team to a 119-109 win to cut the series deficit to 3-1.

After the game, Doncic got brutally honest about the Mavs potentially coming back from a 0-3 hole against a powerhouse Warriors side. When he was reminded about the fact that no team has ever come back from such a huge deficit, Luka was defiant in his response:

“You never know, man,” Doncic said right after the game, via NBA on TNT. “We're gonna stay together, that's it. We're gonna believe… It's gonna be really tough in Golden State. We know that and we're gonna stay together.”

The odds are definitely stacked against them, but at this point, the Mavs have no other choice but to take this series one game at a time. They've already won one game on Tuesday, and now their sights are set on winning another one on Thursday in Golden State.

The Warriors had no answer for Doncic in this one, with the Mavs guard finishing with a game-high 30 points on 10-of-26 shooting, to go along with 14 rebounds, nine assists, two steals, two blocks and three triples.
