Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic earned his third All-NBA Team honor in just his fourth season, and unsurprisingly, he made history in the process.

According to NBA PR, the 23-year-old Doncic is only the fourth player in league history to have three or more All-NBA First Team selections before turning 24. He joins the likes of Tim Duncan, Kevin Durant and Max Zaslofsky in the exclusive club, with LeBron James not even making the list.

Luka Doncic has been phenomenal since arriving in the NBA. The only time he didn't make it to the All-NBA Team was in his rookie year in 2018-19, but ever since then, he has been a regular in the All-NBA honors.

And for a young player in his early 20s, that is certainly quite the achievement. The Mavs star has yet to reach his prime as well, so it's highly likely that NBA fans will see him appear in more All-NBA First Teams in the years to come.

Doncic has career averages of 26.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.0 assists while shooting 45.7 percent from the field. In 2021-22 alone, he put up 28.4 points, 9.1 boards and 8.7 dimes per game to lead the Mavs to the fourth-best record in the NBA.

With the Slovenian wonderboy committed to the Mavs for the next few years, the future is certainly looking bright for Dallas.
