Hometown hero LeBron James was once again the NBA's leading All-Star vote-getter and captain of one of the teams playing on Sunday night. The Los Angeles Lakers star is playing in his 18th All-Star game, making it in every season of his career save for his rookie campaign.

Cleveland also has more reason to root for Team LeBron aside from the kid from Akron. Both Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland, the Cavs' first All-Stars since James' departure, are also on the same team.

The NBA's All-Star weekend makes its comeback to Cleveland for the league's 75th anniversary. It's a fitting return given that the 50th anniversary 25 years ago was also held in the same city.

Aside from the usual festivities, the league is also set to honor the NBA's Top 75 list of its greatest players of all-time. It's no surprise that the Lakers star is on that list as well.
