In a 3-Point Contest that will pit Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry against his little brother, Seth, and a retiring NBA legend in Dirk Nowitzki, Steph is emerging as the early favorite, per BetOnline.ag.

Of course, if you had to come up with a poll to see who everyone was rooting for, it's pretty much a guarantee that everyone outside the Bay Area will be rooting for Nowitzki, who will be participating in the event for the final time.

But, with Nowitzki now 40 years old and showing hardly any signs of life during the limited action he has seen with the Dallas Mavericks this season, it's only natural that Curry is the favorite to win the contest. As a matter of fact, Nowitzki has the lowest odds to come out on top.

Seth is fourth in odds.

As for Steph, the two-time MVP is shooting 45.1 percent from long distance this season, his best mark in three years. What's even more impressive about Curry's ridiculous ratio is that he is attempting 11.6 triples a game, the highest volume of his NBA tenure.

Overall, Curry is averaging 29.2 points, 5.3 assists, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.1 steals over 34.3 minutes per game while shooting 49.3 percent from the floor and 92.3 percent from the free-throw line.

If it weren't for the fact that Curry plays on the same team as Kevin Durant, he would be receiving a lot more consideration for a third Most Valuable Player award, as this is probably the second-best year of Curry's 10-year NBA career.

Curry has won the 3-Point Contest just once in his career, edging out the field in 2015.
