Detroit Pistons legend Isiah Thomas doesn't have a problem with Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James leaving the court early during the Lakers' Game 3 loss to the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Finals.

Thomas, whose Pistons famously didn't shake the Chicago Bulls' hands after they got swept by Michael Jordan in the 1991 Eastern Conference Finals, said people need to stop being selective on who they criticize and when (via ESPN's First Take).

Because it's LeBron James, everyone bashed The King for not staying on the court until the final buzzer went off in Game 3.

However, as Isiah Thomas said, it's not that big of a deal since the game was basically over and James was clearly frustrated with how he and his Lakers played.

Game 4 of the NBA Finals is set for Tuesday evening. James and the Lakers haven't lost two straight games yet during the 2020 playoffs, so it will be interesting to see if Los Angeles can bounce back after suffering a bad loss in Game 3 at the hands of Heat swingman Jimmy Butler.

James will have to play much better for L.A. to win. The three-time NBA champion had eight turnovers in Game 3 and played extremely sloppy from start to finish.

Butler was talking smack to James at the end of Sunday's NBA Finals showdown, so it should be fascinating to see how LeBron and the Lakers respond.
