ESPN analyst Jay Williams would be “shocked” to see Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant miss yet another game after he was declared out of the first four games of the series, now upgraded to “questionable” ahead of a must-win Game 5 against the Toronto Raptors.

“I was actually with KD last night and I will say this — regardless of whatever side of the coin you're on with Kevin Durant with him being emotional or barking back at people on social media. If you're a real hooper, you know Kevin Durant is one of the most ruthless competitors you'd ever meet. This is a guy I randomly found myself in a pick-up basketball game with at Rucker Park and he's competing every play on a streetball court…

“He loves the big stage. For him to be dropped back in Game 5 of the NBA Finals is a monumental thing. I would be shocked if we don't see KD on the basketball court tonight.”

The Warriors have been awfully cautious handling Durant's calf injury, giving him a full month before he was allowed to even practice.

The “questionable” status brings only further intrigue to the situation, as the Raptors will likely have to have a game plan change if he does suit up on Monday night.

Golden State has zero margin for error going forward, as they are now with their back against the wall, forced to win every remaining game if they hope to crown themselves NBA champions for a third straight season.
