NBA analyst and former player Jalen Rose says he's 99 percent sure Kawhi Leonard is signing a short-term deal with the Toronto Raptors.

Rose was the first person to report last season that Leonard would never play for the San Antonio Spurs again. Not a lot of people believed Rose, but it turned out he was 100 percent correct:

Kawhi Leonard will either re-sign with the Raptors or join the Los Angeles Lakers or Los Angeles Clippers. The two-time Finals MVP is supposedly in Toronto on Wednesday meeting with Raptors president Masai Ujiri.

Leonard is the most sought-after free agent right now. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving agreed to deals with the Brooklyn Nets, while Jimmy Butler is headed to the Miami Heat via a sign-and-trade deal involving the Philadelphia 76ers and Clippers. The entire basketball world is on pins and needles waiting to see what decision Leonard makes.

This past season with the Raptors, Leonard was nothing short of sensational. The three-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year averaged 26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists during the regular season. As all superstars do, Leonard took his game to another level in the postseason, guiding the Raptors to their first ever championship. Kawhi put up 30.5 points in the 2019 playoffs.

Raptors fans are hoping Jalen Rose's reporting is accurate. Lakers and Clippers fans, meanwhile, are hoping it's fake news.
