Carmelo Anthony says he's never had the teams LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have had in their NBA careers.

LeBron and Wade won two titles together on the Miami Heat with Chris Bosh. Wade won his first ring back in 2006 with Shaquille O'Neal.

James won his third championship in 2016 with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love on the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs became the first team in NBA history to erase a 3-1 series deficit in the Finals.

Carmelo Anthony, who has never played in an NBA Finals, says he's always been the lone superstar on his teams throughout his career.

“I've never been put in those situations before,” Anthony told Stephen A. Smith on ESPN's First Take. “I've never had the teams that LeBron James has had. I've never had the teams that DWade has had. I've never had the teams that a lot of these stars out there has had. It's always been me.”

Carmelo Anthony went to the 2009 Western Conference Finals with the Denver Nuggets. That's the deepest he's gone in the playoffs in his career. The Nuggets lost to Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers in six games.

That Nuggets team had a 33-year-old Allen Iverson, a 32-year-old Chauncey Billups and a 23-year-old J.R. Smith.

The best New York Knicks team Anthony played for was the 2013 squad which lost to the Indiana Pacers in the second-round. The Knicks won 54 games during the regular-season. Melo averaged 28.7 points per game. The second-leading scorer on that team was J.R. Smith, who averaged 18.1 points. Amar'e Stoudemire put up 14.2.

Carmelo Anthony is right. He's never played with superstars in his career, something LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have had the luxury of doing.
