Over the weekend, Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James gave his game worn sneakers to a Memphis Grizzlies equipment assistant. The assistant, Brianè Miller, has been wearing a pair of James' shoes every time LeBron comes to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies and The King wanted to show her he appreciates that by giving her an exclusive pair.

Upon receiving the shoes, Miller was brought to tears and even got a hug from LeBron James. Miller also told reporters she was offered $100,000 for the shoes and that she turned the money down.

This was an amazing gesture by LeBron James and he continues to show he is arguably the greatest role model of our generation. From opening his “I Promise” School in Akron, Ohio, to paying for kids' college tuition, and now giving his shoes to a random equipment manager, LeBron is truly an inspiration.

Also, how loyal is Brianè Miller? $100,000 is a lot of money to turn down. As you can see, this is bigger than basketball and money. LeBron James is her favorite player and the shoes are something she can cherish for a lifetime. The money would have just been a superficial memory. The shoes are something that's an exclusive memory for her and James to share.
