Kevin Garnett doesn't see anyone from the Western Conference winning the NBA title this 2021. Considering the talent remaining in the East, there's just no way KG sees the likes of the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks losing in the Finals should they reach it.

Garnett's latest comments came in the wake of the Los Angeles Lakers' shocking playoffs exit. The defending champions–riddled with injuries to Anthony Davis and other key players–were sent packing by the Phoenix Suns in six games.

The Big Ticket quickly took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the development, highlighting his belief that the new NBA champion will be coming out of the East.

Kevin Garnett has every reason to believe that a team from the East will win the NBA title this season. After all, it is safe to say they have the best players remaining in the likes of Kevin Durant, James Harden, Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo. That's three former MVP winners and one MVP finalist!

Sure, the West boasts the likely 2020-21 MVP in Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic, but as the Portland Trail Blazers proved, they are not as invincible with their second superstar in Jamal Murray injured and out.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks could make a strong case from the West, but only one of them will survive in the last remaining first-round showdown of the playoffs.

Of course, this remark from the Hall of Famer should only motivate the likes of the Utah Jazz, Nuggets and Suns. While they are not the ones fans expected to represent the East, they have shown they are legitimate contenders not to be underestimated.

Fortunately for KG and NBA fans, it won't be long until we see the last two teams standing with the second round of the postseason almost here.
