Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo are without a doubt two of the top players in the NBA today. If you ask renowned broadcaster Colin Cowherd, however, it's a clear choice for him who he's picking if he were to build a franchise around one of these two superstars. Unfortunately for him, the Brooklyn Nets superstar isn't going to like Cowherd's pick here.

According to Cowherd, he firmly believes that Giannis is the better choice between the pair. He acknowledged how Durant is an offensive juggernaut but he couldn't help but throw shade at the Nets star for his tendency to jump from team to team:

“First of all, [Giannis] is gonna age better and have a longer prime,” he said on a recent episode of The Herd with Collin Cowherd. “Now, KD is the great offensive player but he's been knicked up now for about four years. Also, he's a wanderer. You never know can you really build around KD? I know I can build around Giannis for the next 10 years in Milwaukee, and that has huge value to me.”

We all know how Durant walked away from the Thunder a few years ago to join Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. KD did that again in 2019 to team up with Kyrie Irving with the Nets. Right now, Cowherd isn't confident that Durant won't do it again, thus his hesitation to theoretically build a franchise around him.

Giannis, on the other hand, is an altogether different conversation.
