Kevin Durant is a sensitive superstar. Anyone who has followed the Brooklyn Nets star over the past couple of seasons knows that the star does everything he can to hit back at critics. This time, he will have an interesting time responding as Dennis Rodman joins the calling-out-KD party.

The Hall of Famer joined Rachel Nichols and Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen at The Jump and was asked about his thoughts on Kevin Durant's departure from the Dubs. Being a player that joined a team mid-dynasty, he understands what KD is going through.

However, he shocked Nichols and a lot of basketball fans when he straight out gave Durant a verbal uppercut.

He called out Durant because he has the opportunity to play the game at a high level and on a superb team like the Warriors yet he still chose to say what he said. He then mentioned that for him, it didn't matter who was the leading star as long as he's winning basketball games.

Durant talked to the Wall Street Journal's J.R. Moehringer about his future and the reason why he left a championship team in the Warriors:

“I came in there wanting to be part of a group, wanting to be part of a family, and definitely felt accepted,” he says. “But I’ll never be one of those guys. I didn’t get drafted there.”

Of course, both players are coming from different perspectives of the game. Dennis Rodman became a standout defender and rebounder and just wanted to win with a team. Meanwhile, Durant has been the guy all his basketball life and wants to keep things that way.

Both sides have valid points and it is up to the reader to decide which side rings truer. However, every Nets fan is praying that KD doesn't clap back to Rodman with one of his burner accounts.
