JJ Redick had praise for Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant. Redick says Durant is the best player in the NBA and it's tough to argue that.

Redick had this to say about Durant,

“What he’s been able to do post-Achilles has been nothing short of remarkable. From my perspective as a player and my peers' perspective, he’s the best player in the NBA, and everybody else is sort of competing for that second spot.”

Durant is an incredible talent. He's undoubtedly a top 3 scorer of all time and it's hard to argue that the Nets star isn't the most skilled scorer the sport has ever seen. He can beat you from anywhere on the court. He's seven feet tall with an incredible jump shot from anywhere on the court. There isn't a defender in the NBA who can stop Durant. The best someone could do is try to stop him from scoring 45 in a night. The Nets star is unguardable.

Durant came off an Achilles injury and still managed to average 27 points per game last season for the Nets. Most players' post-Achilles injuries are nowhere near the player they were before, but this wasn't the case for Durant. The season is early and the Nets have only played seven games but in those seven games Durant has averaged 27.7 points per game.

Durant and the Nets are 4-3 to start the year. They haven't started the way they had hoped to start but the season is young and they have new players.

Durant will look to lead the Nets to an NBA championship after being knocked out last season by the champions, Milwaukee Bucks.
