Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant has always about keeping it real. Even if sometimes, he needs a burner Twitter account.

But on Tuesday, Durant was straightforward with his assessment of the Chicago Bulls. After the Nets beat the Bulls in a competitive contest, 115-107, KD said he's actually impressed with the boys from Windy City, particularly with Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and Coby White (via Kristian Winfield of NY Daily News).

Durant also mentioned rookie Patrick Williams, who has been a bit inconsistent but surely has the tools, especially on the defensive end, to be a key contributor in the coming years. Williams was the designated defender on Durant for much of their meeting on Tuesday. The former MVP, however, wasn't too bothered by the defense, finishing with a team-high 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting. He also added eight assists and three blocks.

As Durant hinted, LaVine was extra saucy against the Nets. He exploded for 41 points on 15-of-27 shooting, including 6-of-11 from beyond the arc. He has truly made a name for himself this season as one of the NBA's most lethal scorers.

Vucevic had a subpar game with 12 points and 12 rebounds but his addition to the Bulls during the trade deadline will only bode well for the squad in the future once he gets fully acclimated.

Kevin Durant perhaps sees himself in the Bulls as he also started from the bottom with the Oklahoma City Thunder before carrying them to new heights. If the Bulls keep their young core intact, they will surely challenge the Nets in the years to come.
