During an interview with Big Cat of Barstool Sports, Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant talked about why he continues to use burner accounts on Twitter.

Durant, who missed the entire 2019-20 season for the Nets recovering from his Achilles tear, admits he enjoys using his burner accounts despite the negative reaction it gets from fans.

Durant has been extra sensitive ever since he signed with the Golden State Warriors in the summer of 2016. There are some fans who will never be able to forgive the two-time Finals MVP for leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder for a 73-9 Warriors team.

As a result, Durant still gets mocked on social media for taking the easy way out and joining the Warriors. The Nets star often chimes in on his regular Twitter account and says he signed with the Warriors just to make fans angry.

Who knows how many burners Durant has and uses on a daily basis, but it's clear from his comments the 10-time All-Star isn't going to slow down any time soon.

Once the 2020-21 season starts, the Nets will likely be title contenders with Durant and fellow superstar Kyrie Irving leading the way. Brooklyn has also surrounded Durant and Irving with a great supporting cast in Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, Spencer Dinwiddie, Joe Harris and DeAndre Jordan.

Kevin Durant, who has career averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists, will certainly be a man on a mission next season to win the championship after missing an entire season.
