The new-look Brooklyn Nets are definitely a problem. Kevin Durant and his newest teammate James Harden are both off to a hot start, as they led the team to another huge win on Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Still playing without starting point guard Kyrie Irving, Durant and Harden are quickly changing the narrative in Brooklyn. In fact, the two have put up historic numbers in their first 96 minutes together.

In Harden's first two games with the Nets, he and Durant have combined for a total of 138 points–the second-most in a duo's first two games together in a franchise (via ESPN Stats & Info).

Both former MVPs are looking for redemption, and two games in together, they're on the right track.

Kevin Durant is playing his first season with the Nets after missing the entire 2019-20 campaign with an Achilles injury. Prior to Monday's contest, KD was averaging 30.7 points as he looks 100 percent healthy.

James Harden, as fans have all seen and heard, has had a rough week. He has been on the wrong side of headlines after all the drama and controversy surrounding him and the Houston Rockets, but it seems that the three-time scoring champ has quickly settled in with the Nets. Just as he's done throughout his entire career, Harden is letting his game do the talking. In his first two games in Brooklyn, The Beard has averaged an incredible 33.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 13.0 assists.

Harden dropped a 34-6-12 line on Monday against the Bucks, which paired perfectly with Durant's 30-9-6. With that, it's safe to say that these two like playing with each other.
