With the 2019-20 NBA season at a halt, Spencer Dinwiddie had a little fun with Brooklyn Nets teammate Kevin Durant after the latter chronicled some of his early high school days.

A fan took notice of a tweet showcasing Durant's elite crossover dribble and took to social media to ask him just how he developed that killer cross as a near 7-footer:

Durant's response didn't go unnoticed by Dinwiddie, who quickly warned Durant that he'll have a different workout partner once the NBA resumes instead of Theo Pinson:

Some Las Vegas bettors are taking a leap of faith on the Nets, risking it all on 100/1 odds that the Nets could win the NBA title because of some hope that KD could return for a resumed season.

The league is formally in suspension for 30 days, but some owners have expected this hiatus to last much longer due to the rapidly spreading effect of the coronavirus.

There is some reason to believe the league could resume in mid-to-late June, with the playoffs running into August. That would mark a year since Durant suffered his torn Achilles injury, potentially giving him enough time to return to the court, even if the Nets have ruled him out for the rest of the season.

Prior to the spread of the coronavirus, Durant was prepared to potentially take part in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but those could wind up getting canceled as well. USA Basketball suspended operations in the last few days, leaving the NBA as the only canvas for Durant's eventual return.

Should the gifted scorer return, he'll need a hand or two from Dinwiddie to regain that pep in his step, which could greatly help the Nets, even if they've lost Kyrie Irving to a shoulder injury for the next few months.
