Drew Lock was one of the most talked about prospects heading into the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft last night. He has moved his way up and down mock drafts over the last few weeks, but almost all of them had him ending up being a first round pick. Unfortunately for the Missouri Tigers' quarterback, he ended up sliding out of the first round entirely.

More than likely, Lock will end up being an early Day 2 draft pick. There are still plenty of teams that could use a quarterback. Even the Green Bay Packers could be a potential team to keep an eye on.

Either way, there is going to be a team that is ecstatic to have the chance to draft Lock in the second round.

Last season at Missouri, Lock ended up completing 62.9 percent of his pass attempts for 3,498 yards, 28 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. He also racked up 175 yards and six touchdowns on the ground.

It will be interesting to see where Lock ends up when everything is said and done. He is looking for the best fit possible and isn't upset about waiting to find that fit. Perhaps he will end up landing with a team where he can learn from the sidelines for a year or two and then take things over.

Daniel Jones was the first quarterback taken in the first round at No. 6 overall by the New York Giants. Dwayne Haskins also went in the first round at No. 15 by the Washington Redskins. Both quarterbacks are going to be asked to step up in the next couple of years into starting roles.

All of that being said, Drew Lock will be a name to keep an eye on when the second round starts this evening.
