The remake of the PS1 title PAC-MAN WORLD was announced in the June 2022 Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase. Subtitled “Re-PAC,” this remake is sure to tingle the nostalgia as players explore six different worlds in search of PAC-MAN's kidnapped family. PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC' release date is on August 26, 2022 for PlayStation4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

PAC-MAN WORLD, first released in 1999, was the iconic titular character's debut to the 3D platforming genre. As the first game in the PAC-MAN WORLD trilogy, it sold 1.5 million units worldwide.
