Nate McMillan was officially hired as the new Indiana Pacers head coach just a couple of days ago. McMillan joins an organization with a lot of nice assets including Paul George, Monta Ellis, and Myles Turner.

McMillan went on Sirius XM Radio yesterday to talk about Turner and had an interesting comparison for him.

Comparing Turner to LaMarcus Aldridge this early in his career might be a bit premature, but you can see where McMillan is coming from when you watch Turner play. Turner has a great shot and a solid rim protector. The one major difference between the two is that Turner doesn't have the kind of ability to score with his back to the basket as Aldridge does.

Still, at the very least, a positive that can be taken away from this comparison for Pacers fans is that Myles Turner will be a big part of the team next year given how high McMillan rates him.
