Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo suffered what is potentially a season-ending knee injury during his team's game against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night and had to be taken off of the court on a stretcher. Afterward, it was reported that Oladipo may have to undergo surgery. He will go for an MRI on Thursday.

Pacers legend Reggie Miller took to Twitter to offer support and encouragement for Oladipo following the news.

Hopefully, Oladipo can recover from this tragic setback.

The scariest part about the injury is that this is the same right knee he had issues with earlier in the season. On Nov. 17, Oladipo left the Pacers' win over the Atlanta Hawks after just five minutes due to a right knee injury.

He was then sidelined all the way through Dec. 10 with what was simply called right knee soreness, with some speculating that Oladipo could be out for the rest of the season. However, the shooting guard returned on Dec. 12, scoring 12 points in 29 minutes in a victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

In spite of his return, it has been obvious that Oladipo was not himself, as he shot just 40.8 percent from the floor in December and was shooting just 40.3 percent this month before getting injured against the Raptors.

Overall this season, the 26-year-old was averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.7 steals over 32.5 minutes per game while shooting 42.3 percent from the field, 34.4 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the free-throw line.

Oladipo arrived in Indiana during the summer of 2017 after coming over in a trade that sent Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He made his first All-Star team last season.
