Wednesday night marked the first time that Oklahoma City Thunder superstar forward Paul George played at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse as a member of the visiting team. Needless to say, George knew what to expect going in to play his former squad in the Indiana Pacers.

Pacers fans were sure to let him have it during the introductions of each team's perspective starting lineups. However, Indiana managed to throw a little bit of extra shade at George through a video of their all-time franchise greats — which did not include one player in particular, according to ESPN's Royce Young:

The Pacers showed a long video going through all the greats in their history — Wayman Tisdale, Chuck Person, Dale Davis, Jeff Foster, Jalen Rose, Reggie Miller, etc. Paul George was not included.

While the Pacers' subtle jab may have been a bit petty, it just goes to show that there are still some hard feelings from the organization. Prior to his departure, George was vocal about his displeasure with the current state of the franchise at the time. It was not long before he essentially guaranteed that an extension with the team was not in his future and,  as a result, was traded to the Thunder.

It is understandable that Indiana would still be a bit disappointed with the way things ended with George. However, there is no denying that he was their biggest star player since the legendary Reggie Miller and will undoubtedly be recognized by the consensus as one of the best Pacers of all time.
