Indiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo is a man on a mission.

Most people who suffer a ruptured quad tendon in the knee will approach their rehab slow and keep expectations low for their comeback.

Not Oladipo, who says he's going to be “the best in the league.” The Pacers star also says his right knee injury was a “blessing.”

Without Oladipo, the Pacers got swept by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. The Pacers missed Oladipo immensely, especially in the fourth quarter where Oladipo takes over games.

Before he got hurt in January, Oladipo was averaging 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game for the Pacers while shooting 42.3 percent from the field, 34.3 percent from beyond the arc and 73.0 percent from the free-throw line. Indiana was 25-11 when Oladipo was in the lineup.

It's going to be exciting to see Oladipo play in 2019-20. The high-flyer is clearly motivated to get back on the court and show the world he's going to be an even better player than he was before the knee injury. The Pacers can't wait to have their best player back. Getting swept in the postseason is never a good feeling, so you know the Pacers will be hungry in 2019-20.
