Indiana Pacers guard Jeremy Lamb suffered a torn ACL, torn meniscus and fracture in his left knee on Sunday against the Toronto Raptors.

Lamb will miss the rest of the season for the Pacers. However, the guard did channel his inner Mamba Mentality by shooting his free throws hurt, just like Kobe Bryant did when he tore his Achilles tendon against the Golden State Warriors:

Lamb will undergo surgery on a date to be determined. The Pacers signed Lamb to a three-year, $31.3 million deal contract this past offseason.

Lamb finished his first season with the Pacers averaging 12.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He shot 45.1 percent from the field, 33.5 percent from beyond the arc and 83.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Pacers are 33-24 on the season. They are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Indiana is 3-5 with All-Star shooting guard Victor Oladipo in the lineup. As expected, Oladipo is still knocking off some rust.

Pacers fans and the basketball community as a whole are praying that Lamb makes a full recovery. He has career NBA averages of 10.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 481 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Charlotte Hornets and Pacers.

Indiana is back in action on Tuesday against the Hornets. Everyone on the team will have to step their games up now that Lamb is done for the season.
