The Green Bay Packers kept their playoff aspirations alive on Sunday with a 27-21 overtime win over the Cleveland Browns. It has immediately brought into question the availability of former two-time league MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the Week 15 matchup on the road against the Carolina Panthers.

According to Rob Demonvsky of ESPN, head coach Mike McCarthy has decided for the time being to avoid any questions concerning Rodgers.

“We love Aaron Rodgers, but I will not answer any questions about him today,” McCarthy said. “This is about winning the game, and he’s still in the medical situation and as soon as we have the information we’ll try to get it to you.”

The 34-year-old is expected to be activated at some point this upcoming week to play the final three games of the season. This notion has been further fueled by the Packers' comeback victory that has them in position to potentially make a run at a playoff spot.

The Packers have continued to voice praise and encouragement about Rodgers' recovery as he was able to participate in a limited fashion in practice this past week. This has made it clear that both sides are headed toward bringing back on the field for the final stretch of games.

Rodgers hasn't played since Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings when he suffered a broken collarbone that required surgery. The Packers' final three games will be against the Panthers, Vikings, and Detroit Lions.
