While the football world waits with bated breath to hear if Rob Gronkowski will retire from the field, the New England Patriots great is remembering the good times.

Michael Giardi took to Twitter to share that Gronk told his teammates that he wanted to win another ring in the first few days following the Super Bowl. This is something that Giardi has shared after the word about Gronk's potential professional retirement hangs heavily in the balance.

According to the New York Post, Drew Rosenhaus, who is Rob Gronkowski's agent, says that while he's giving the player some time to think about it, he thinks he'll render a decision in the next couple of weeks.

“Gronkowski will decide whether he will hang up his cleats for good in the “next couple of weeks.” “He’s thinking it through, he’s giving it a lot of thought…” Rosenhaus said. While Gronkowski, 29, was the life of the party during the Patriots’ victory parade in Boston following their 13-3 victory over the Rams in Super Bowl 53, the road to the Lombardi Trophy was anything but smooth.”

This isn't the first time that Gronk has threatened retirement. A few years ago, he threatened to retire from the field when the Detroit Lions tried to acquire him via a trade.

Rob Gronkowski doesn't seem to be up on the trade block this time around, which means that his threat for retirement seems to be a real and credible one this time.

We will keep you apprised of his decision when he finally makes it.
