Josh Hart is doing well with the New Orleans Pelicans. He's currently busy adjusting to life in the Big Easy and preparing for the coming season. However, it seems like some habits refuse to die.

Popular basketball account House of Highlights showcased a fantastic play done by Zion Williamson against the Utah Jazz. He crossed over his marker, took two steps to get to the rim, and made a difficult layup for an incredible and-one play.

However, the greatest thing that happened from the entire thing wasn't the play but what Hart did after the play was completed.

He reached out a hand to Zion to get a high-five. However, the rookie was too busy celebrating his massive dunk to notice what Hart did. The cameras caught him trying to make things less awkward by shaking his own hand.

This hilarious interaction wasn't the first time Hart did this. During his stint with the Purple and Gold, he was also faced with the same predicament with Lance Stephenson. He came to the same solution.

On a more serious note, Hart is excited to play for this franchise and represent New Orleans this 2019-20 campaign

ā€œYou always see people talking about how theyā€™re excited for this season and excited for this team. Obviously (the Pelicans) didnā€™t make the playoffs last year, but we want to have that excitement (of being there) and have that energy and vibe going into this year,ā€ā€ he said.

ā€œFor a team like this that struggled last year, going into this season having this kind of vibe and energy from the fan base is so encouraging. It makes us focus (even more), because weā€™ve got the crowd behind us, the city behind us. Weā€™re going to go out there and hoop and ball and make it fun.ā€

He'll be hoping for less awkward high-fives moving forward, though.
