New Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaks reveal a lot of new information about the next Pokemon game, including time travel and DLC.
New Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Leaks Point to Time Travel, Plans for DLC, customizable characters, and has good story
Reliable Pokemon content leaker Centro Leaks reached out to a new source and claims to have new information regarding the upcoming Pokemon title. According to these new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaks, there will be Pokemon that will do time travel, but the player themselves would not. The leaker also listed down some Pokemon that will definitely make an appearance in the game, as well as ruled out some Pokemon that will not make it to what appears to be a 300-500 strong roster of regional Pokemon. The leak also came with the disappointing news that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will not feature any new Eevee evolutions.

– Joltik, Milotic, Wailord, Metagross, Jynx and Golurk are NOT in the game.

– The player will not.
– Says that story is very good.

– 300-500 Pokémon in the Regional Dex.
– Garchomp is in the game
Centro Leaks also says that their source insists that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will have DLC, similar to how Pokemon Sword and Shield also had them.
The news of time travel is intriguing especially since Pokemon Legends Arceus featured that prominently in its plot. However, it appears that only Pokemon will be able to time travel in this game, indicating that the player will be stuck in a single timeline. While there hasn't been any mention of the Pokemon Dialga, Arceus, or Celebi, we're bound to guess that these three might be involved, considering how it's only these three Pokemon who have exhibited time-traveling powers and abilities throughout Pokemon's history. Time travel is also not new to the games, but it will be the first time that time travel will become a core plot point in any mainline Pokemon game.
