We're a few days into June, so if you haven't checked on this month's PS+ selection yet, you're in luck. This month, two new games become free to download for PS+ subscribers. A third game can be downloaded by PS5 subscribers. Be sure to grab them before the games expire, or before July barrel rolls over!
New games for PS+ June 2021 – PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games for free
Two games for PS4 and PS5 players become free to download this month: Star Wars Squadrons and Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Shodown. The latter also figures in this month's PS Now lineup, but this one here on the PS+ selection lets you keep this game for free forever. Meanwhile, Operation Tango arrives for PS5 subscribers of PS+. Star Wars Squadrons (PS4, PS VR) – Take your skills to the cockpit of a starfighter, doing barrel rolls across the galaxy and shooting down rebel scum. Or, be part of the resistance and show the Empire what you're made of. Take control of one of two iconic starfighters as both the TIE Fighter and the X-wing make their playable appearance in this game. If you have a VR headset, you can also play the game in virtual reality.
Virtua Fighters 5 Ultimate Showdown (PS4) – Take on your friends in this classic arcade fighting game, built with new features and functionalities for online tournament multiplayer. With upgraded graphics and new online features, Virtua Fighters 5 Ultimate Showdown will be your go-to fighting game this month of June.
Operation Tango (PS5) – In this cooperative spy adventure, you take control of either the Hacker or the Agent. A friend takes control of the other, and you two will have to work together to overcome asymmetrical challenges! Are you up to the task?
