Loa Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff said he wouldn't be surprised if Dak Prescott received a bigger extension than he got, and thinks he is deserving of whatever contract he does receive.

“No, not at all,” Goff told reporters on Wednesday via ProFootballTalk. “He’s a great player and he deserves everything coming his way.”

Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have made it clear that they will be extending Prescott and the only question seems to be how much is he going to make. Goff agreed to a four year, $134 million extension entering the fourth year of his five-year contract.

The Cowboys could have saved themselves a lot of money if they would have gotten a deal done before this season started. Prescott had a strong year last year and the Cowboys would have had to pay him a big contract but with every passing game that number has only gone higher.

On the season Prescott has already thrown for 4,122 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Even though the Cowboys haven't won as many games as they hoped, he is having a big year.

The other option for the Cowboys if they can't get a long term extension done is to place the franchise tag on him. Even though these two were drafted in completely different positions, they will always be connected because they both came out of the same draft class.

Who would have thought when these two were drafted that Prescott might actually end up being the higher paid quarterback.
