During an Ask Me Anything Series on Reddit, Toronto Raptors rising star Pascal Siakam was asked who is the toughest player to guard in the NBA. Siakam went with Houston Rockets superstar guard James Harden and Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant, who is expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season recovering from an Achilles tear.
Durant tore his Achilles in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals against Siakam and the Raptors. One of the best players and scorers in NBA history, Durant has career averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 849 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Warriors.
KD, a two-time Finals MVP, can shoot from anywhere on the court and over anyone. Even though Durant is coming back from a terrible injury, the 10-time All-Star will still be a lethal scorer since he's 7-feet tall and has never really relied on his athleticism to score the ball.
As for Harden, The Beard is once again leading the NBA in scoring for the third straight season. Harden is averaging 38.0 points per game on the season. The Rockets star has established himself as one of the most dynamic scoring machines in league history.
The Raptors are happy that they have Siakam on their side. He's the new star player in Toronto now that Kawhi Leonard is gone. Siakam is putting up 24.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game on the season for the Raptors, who are 16-7.
