Fans have been asking Riot Games a long time for a Valorant Battle Royale mode and it looks like it's finally happening.

Ever since Valorant was released in June of last year, the shooter has already taken the world by storm. And though players are still in Episode 3 Act 1, they're already on the lookout as to what the game's next mode will be.

Many fans have been asking for a Battle Royale after seeing the success of Escalation. The latest game mode was released last February and was inspired by other shooters like Call of Duty.

PlayerIGN revealed the recent rumor on Twitter

PlayerIGN, known for previously leaking information about PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, says that Riot Games is already testing the new game mode for Valorant.

Although Riot Games hasn't confirmed it yet, we can rest assured that the rumor is more than likely to be true. This is due to PlayerIGN's track record of leaking information that turned out to be real. Take the Valorant Mobile leak for example.

Valorant Mobile is almost out and this would also be the perfect time for Riot Games to introduce the new game mode should it be true. There also isn't word yet on whether the game mode is set for the main game or on mobile or both.

It seems like Battle Royale Mode would be the smart choice here. After all, who wouldn't want to experience a surprise Shock Dart while scavenging for loot?
