Riot Games' FPS Shooter has become a global sensation, with millions viewing the Finals of the recently-concluded VCT Masters. They've also just finished celebrating the game's 1-year anniversary, in which fans got a lot of cool in-game freebies. But the celebration doesn't end there. In fact, VALORANT esports is just starting. Aside from dominating the PC FPS landscape over the past year, Riot Games is now looking for more room to grow into. Enter VALORANT Mobile.

VALORANT Mobile Release Date, Platforms, and Details

Riot Games announced VALORANT Mobile during its 1st-year anniversary celebration live stream. They unveiled the game, informing everyone that it's finally in full-time development. The decision to bring VALORANT to mobile comes from a desire to bring the game to more players across the globe. Riot Games says in a press release: “With enthusiasm for VALORANT only continuing to grow, Riot now is preparing to expand the franchise – starting with VALORANT Mobile – in order to bring VALORANT to more players around the world.”

VALORANT‘s Executive Producer Anna Donlon has this to say: “One of our top goals this first year was to earn the trust and respect of the global FPS community and to prove to them that VALORANT will always uphold the fundamentals of a truly worthwhile competitive tac-shooter.”
