Redditor swine_flu_greg leaked several projects 2K Games currently works on in one post on the website. Among these rumors, one thing caught our interest the most: a reference to a Marvel-themed XCOM game. A Marvel XCOM game, a new NBA 2K, and two other games show up in the leak. Details below.

NBA 2K22 – The post says that Dirk Nowitzki will be the game's cover athlete. However, other Redditors pointed out that perhaps Nowitzki will only be one of the few cover athletes featured on the game cover, given that there have been multiple cover athletes before. Besides, Nowitzki's already retired, so he'll most likely figure in a Legends Edition, just like how Kobe was in NBA 2K21.

Borderlands spin-off title – A new Borderlands title is in the works, featuring Tiny Tina. However, it won't exactly be a Borderlands 4 game. Rather, it's just going to be a spin-off, with a working title of “Tiny Tina's Wonderlands“. Gearbox Software has trademarked this title already, so this is as good as confirmed, probably.

MARVEL XCOM – Firaxis, developers of the modern XCOM games, reportedly works on a new XCOM-like title. Apart from this, they're reportedly working on MARVEL characters. To add more excitement to this rumor, some heavy-budget actors seem to be doing voice roles for this game. Avengers reunion, anyone?

Cthulu meets Saints Row? – The final title in the leaks talks about a new IP, with a “logo similar to Fallout“. The source can't verify which studio works on this, but their guess is Hangar13.

Tagged with a ‘Legit' tag, it seems like the rumors and leaks in that post are real. Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier says as much. He verifies that the information in the leaks is correct, but he's just not sure if they will appear on E3 2021.
