Last March, the Seattle Seahawks signed wide receiver Phillip Dorsett to a one-year deal. Dorsett, who played for the New England Patriots last season, seems to have some kind of regret in his decision to join the multiple-time Super Bowl champions in retrospect.

In a video call with reporters, the 27-year-old wideout expressed how he felt after joining the Foxborough based team last year.

“I didn’t want to make that mistake again,” Dorsett told reporters Tuesday on a video conference call, per NBC Sports Northwest's Joe Fann.”

After having a great Week 1 in which Dorsett tallied 95 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 33-3 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dorsett was a non-factor the rest of the year, totaling only 302 yard and 2 touchdowns for the next 10 games that he played.

With iconic quarterback Tom Brady taking his talents to Tampa Bay, the former University of Miami standout then elected to not return as well for the 2020 season and chose switch teams out West.

Dorsett seemed ecstatic at what he could bring to Seattle and what he can expect with the Seahawks' offense.

“I feel like this is the right offense for me,” Dorsett said, per Finn. “Obviously, I know Russell, and he’s a great quarterback. The way he plays quarterback and the way this offense is fits my skill set.”

He'll be joining a deep receiving corps in the Pacific Northwest alongside multiple time All-Pro wideout Tyler Lockett, and second-year sensation DK Metcalf, providing excellent weapons and another vertical threat for former MVP signal-caller Russell Wilson.
