With roster cuts imminent, a number of NFL teams are moving players on the trade market, often for future draft picks in the latter rounds. Now entering that conversation is the Seattle Seahawks.

According to a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Seahawks are fielding offers for wide receiver Jermaine Kearse, cornerback Jeremy Lane, and running back Alex Collins. Given all of the talent Seattle has stockpiled at the skill positions, they've apparently deemed that these three guys are expendable.

When healthy, Tyler Lockett is one of the most explosive young receivers in the game, giving Russell Wilson and the Seahawks offense a weapon to stretch the field unlike anything they've had in the past. Rookie Shaquill Griffin has impressed coaches at corner in training camp, and the combo of Thomas Rawls and Chris Carson at running back has pushed Collins down the depth chart.

If a trade can't be made, there is a possibility one or all of these players could be cut. If another team is really interested in adding them to their roster, they'll usually part ways with a late-round pick rather than run the risk of them not getting cut, or potentially getting picked up by somebody else.

For a franchise like Seattle, those late draft picks have been turned into gold quite often. General manager John Schneider is one of the best evaluators of talent in the draft once the headline prospects are off the board.
