It's only been 12 games in a different uniform for marksman J.J. Redick, who signed with the Philadelphia 76ers on a one-year, $23 million deal this offseason after spending his last four with the L.A. Clippers.

As the Sixers go through the final stages of a five-game road trip, taking on the Clippers tonight and the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, the 6-foot-4 sniper reflected on his first time back to Staples Center this season.

“I think it'll be a little surreal tonight coming back for the first time as a visiting player,” Redick told reporters, via ESPN's Lawrence Murray. “Similar to how it was my first time coming back to Orlando.”

“When you're in a place for a long time, there is a familiarity and a comfort level you have. Looking back at my four years here, they were wonderful.”

Redick has disputed how his exit came about, not only through interviews, but through his very own videocast in the Uninterrupted network over the offseason, detailing what enticed him to sign with the young Sixers and how his exit came out after the Chris Paul trade took place.

The Duke standout came to the Clippers after having made a name for himself with the Orlando Magic, enjoying the best years of his career playing next to Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, averaging 15.8 points and 2.5 three-pointers made with a bar-setting 44 percent efficiency through his stint in Lob City.
