It has continued to be a difficult situation with the Philadelphia 76ers for third-year big man Jahlil Okafor with things going further south.

Okafor has found himself on the outside looking in for a spot in the Sixers' rotation as he has made just only made two appearances this season. However, the trade chatter has begun to once again pick up around him as the Phoenix Suns have recently expressed interest in him.

According to Keith Pompey of The Inquirer, the 21-year-old is set to meet with his agent to discuss possible trade scenarios.

Okafor was scheduled to meet with his agent Bill Duffy for lunch here Wednesday to discuss possible trade scenarios.

“He’s supposed to give me a rundown on all the options and what’s being said,” Okafor said following Wednesday morning’s practice at Golden 1 Center. “I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on, because I don’t know what’s going on.”

The entire situation has progressed to the point to where Okafor's only option is to look for a trade from Philadelphia. Keep in mind, the team has already elected to decline the fourth-year option for the 2018-19 campaign and has declined to engage in a buyout.

Despite seeing brief playing time this season, Okafor has proven to be more than a capable scorer averaging 14.6 points for his career and can also be a factor as a rebounder. He is currently making $4.9 million this season.
