Fans got a good look at Markelle Fultz' talents towards the end of the season. After sitting out most of the season with a shoulder injury, which messed up his jump shot, it seemed that Fultz was good to go. He even became the youngest player to record a triple-double. But, according to the 19-year-old himself, he's still not at 100 percent.

Fultz said:

“It's pretty good, really. I'm not all the way there but I definitely have a lot more. Even if I was a hundred percent I would still want to get better. The grind starts now. Just to keep working and get better each and every day.”

During the interview, he also shared what is the goal is right now: to prove everyone that he belongs in the NBA. As reported by Evan Macy of PhillyVoice:

“I'm just looking to prove that I belong to be here,” Fultz said in an exit interview at the Sixers' training facility in Camden Thursday. “I want to show I am an NBA player and show why I am here.”

He noted that despite not being given ample playing time, he absorbed everything he could on the bench:

“Even being able to practice with these guys, learn from them while I was sitting out, I was able to see things from a different perspective,” Fultz said. “Seeing who was open when we ran plays, seeing the defensive spots that you needed to be in, it helped me a lot. I am very happy with what I've learned over this period of time.”
