Fans inside the Wells Fargo Arena made their displeasure known on Thursday night. They showered the Philadelphia 76ers with boos following a lackluster effort in the second period against the Brooklyn Nets.

After holding on a 26-20 advantage in the first 12 minutes of the match, the Sixers allowed the visitors to walk all over them in the second and were outscored 32-16 in the quarter.

The Sixers were down as much as 20 points with 3:08 remaining in the second against the Nets team who was missing Kyrie Irving, who is done for the season due to a shoulder injury.

The Sixers salvaged a run to close out the period but was still down by double digits, 52-42, at the half. Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris were the only bright spots on offense, scoring 16 and 10 points, respectively.

Philly is ranked 5th in the East with a 34-21 slate entering Thursday's match. They are actually one of the best teams at home this season, amassing a 25-2 record inside Wells Fargo. However, the team struggled mightily on the road with a 9-19 record before the All-Star break.
