New Spurs forward Rudy Gay believes he is one of the league's best small forwards, and he made it known to the developers of NBA 2K18 after they did not include him on the top-10 highest-rated small forwards of the popular video game.

The latest reveal by NBA 2K18 named the usual suspects, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, as the leaders of the position. Completing the list were Giannis Antetokounmpo, Gordon Hayward, Andrew Wiggins, Carmelo Anthony, Harrison Barnes and Danilo Gallinari.

This ranking, nonetheless, didn't sit well with Gay who took it to twitter to express his disappointment and call the game a “Crock of BS.”

Gay could argue with the ratings, particularly with Barnes and Gallinari rated above him. After all, the 31-year-old's player efficiency rating last season was on par with Anthony who is eighth on the list.

However, the problem for Gay is that he appeared in only 30 games for the Sacramento Kings after suffering an Achilles injury last January. Those included in the top 10 played at least 62 games in the 2016-17 campaign while providing significant contributions to their teams, making it tough to formulate a solid case for Gay's inclusion.

Gay isn't the first player, and probably won't be the last, to be upset with NBA 2K18. Washington Wizards All-Star John Wall also argued with Ronnie2K over his rating while Jordan Clarkson, joined by Nick Young, ripped the game in displeasure after he was given a 77.

The good news, though, is that Gay vowed to prove NBA 2K18 wrong in the upcoming season, something that the Spurs would welcome with open arms after signing him to a 2-year, $17.2 million deal this offseason.
