The once 11-0 Pittsburgh Steelers are in trouble after three straight losses, with the defeat to the lowly and undermanned Cincinnati Bengals as the cherry on top.

Chris Carter, the host of the daily Locked On Steelers podcast, discussed that it is a red alert in Pittsburgh and fans should start to panic.

Carter: Guys, you know that I have been very patient on this show. I am not an alarmist. If you listen to this show or if you read my work, you know that I am a very patient person when it comes to anything, and I am looking at things that need to get fixed, but I know that we have time, I try to look at everything reasonably. I am not a jump to conclusions guy. I will study it and look at the problems, see what answers can be had and see when they should be had but guys, this is a problem. This is a red alert. That’s right. It is all downhill right now for the Steelers. Everything is horrible. Get ready for the worst. I mean it Steelers fans. This is a red alert, and this is when everything has gone bad. How do you lose to the Bengals with a third-string quarterback on Monday Night Football where they stunk for years? You have owned them for so long and this happens? I am not trying to hear that this is a Mike Tomlin trap game thing. All that is out of the window. Stop it. The Steelers running game worked. Eighteen carries for 84 yards and a touchdown for Benny Snell. He balled. That is 4.7 yards per carry. He came through for you. Your offensive line gave up some pressure. Ben got sacked once. They run blocked for you. There were not massive dropped passes everywhere and there were open receivers all over the field.
